KPX CSR: Mangrove Planting on June 5, 2025 | For Environmental Restoration
In celebration of World Environment Day, KPX Chemical (Thailand) Limited proudly organized the
“CSR: Mangrove Planting” initiative on June 5, 2025, at the Bangpoo Nature Education Center in Samut Prakan. This meaningful event was part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, aiming to restore coastal ecosystems and raise awareness of the vital role mangroves play in protecting biodiversity, preventing shoreline erosion, and combating climate change.
The initiative brought together KPX employees in a collaborative effort to take real action for the planet.
Highlights of the day included:
- An educational session on the importance of mangrove forests and their environmental impact
- Hands-on mangrove planting in designated coastal restoration areas
KPX Chemical underscored its guiding principle:
Mangroves play a crucial role in absorbing greenhouse gases, protecting against coastal erosion, and providing habitats for marine life. Restoring mangrove forests is a long-term investment in nature’s balance.
